TMJ Syndrome

From Dr. Schrock:

TMJ Syndrome can cause chronic headaches, loss of sleep, pain with eating, neck tension and pain.

Avoid chewing gum for more than 5-10 minutes at a time Also avoid tough chewy candies. Cut up meat into smaller bites.

Common causes are trauma, grinding teeth, and repetitious chewing.
