Madonna Tribute Artist at Storm Games

First it was Jay White as Neil Diamond, and now it is Coty Alexander performing as Madonna and other popular mainstream musical artists. Alexander will perform two postgame concerts at Kearney’s Viaero Event Center following the Tri-City Storm’s hockey games Friday and Saturday.

Alexander, a Las Vegas entertainer and musical tribute artist, will perform a number of Madonna’s popular songs during a postgame concert. In addition to the postgame material, Alexander will pay tribute through in-game appearances as Lady Gaga on Friday night and Gwen Stefani on Saturday night. There is no additional cost for the performances, but those attending will be required to purchase a Storm game ticket to the 7:05 p.m. contests.

“The feedback from the Jay White performance was enough for us to move forward with the experiment of mixing live musical entertainment with sports,” said Tri-City Storm and Viaero Event Center President Greg Shea. “We want to continue the positive momentum on and off the ice down the stretch, and what better way than to provide customers with some value-added entertainment for their money.”

Alexander, a Los Angeles native, has been noted in several entertainment reviews as one of the best around at portraying Madonna. Her work in Las Vegas has included stops at the Imperial Palace Casino, Harrah’s Casino and the Stratosphere Casino. In addition to her work impersonating Madonna, Lady Gaga and Gwen Stefani, she has done performances as Marilyn Monroe and Britney Spears.

A singer, dancer and songwriter, Alexander started performing at age 5 as a Shirley Temple impersonator. Her musical talents have taken her around the world performing in U.S.O. shows as well as national commercials, infomercials, music videos, television, film and radio advertisements.
