Nashville Recording Artist, Reggie Shaw was born in Kearney Nebraska. He was raised in Overton, Nebraska before moving to Nashville,
Tennessee when he was 18 years old. He played at the Fiddle and Steel Guitar Bar along with another band called Duces Wild, who would later
become Rascal Flatts.
In 1999, Reggie was offerred a deal with RCA after recording a song called “Honesty”. His producer found the song at Warner Chapell Publishing,
but the deal just was not quite what Reggie expected it to be. He turned the oer down and continued to play music. Two years later “Honesty” became Rodney Atkins first #1 song and would launch the career that Reggie did not take. Reggie signed a publishing deal in 2006 and wrote songs with some of the biggest writers in Nashville such as Dave Gibson, Eric Durrance, Randy Boudreaux, and many more.
Over the years, Reggie opened a lot of doors in the music business. He played at Tootsies in Nashville for 5 years for thousands of Nashville
tourists and was part of the 2008 CMA Tour featuring Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum, and Eric Durrance. Now that the music business has restructured, Reggie feels that it is time to return home to Nebraska and find his roots again. He will be playing several shows around the state. Come out and see this talented singer/songwriter sing all your favorite country songs and some of his own.
